ASCEND is for the woman who is driven, purpose-oriented, has vision and is pregnant with something, ready to be unveiled. You’re ready to take the vision and this dream you’ve been carrying to see it realized. You want respite, a reset, a time away for refreshing. Your pursuit is to connect deeply to your heart and come closer to yourself and your truth. You recognize the importance of nurturing your inner land. You are creating space for something new. ASCEND will be held at the highly-acclaimed, luxury property, Sage Lodge in Paradise Valley, Montana. The property sits on 1300 acres and has endless curated activities and extensive amenities, including a spa and a renowned restaurant. Speakers
Jacy Ángelle Smith
In addition to THRIVERY™, Jacy is also the founder and CEO of J Ángelle Luxury Travel, an affiliate of Montecito Village Travel, a Virtuoso member agency. Passion for travel has her create unique, out-of-the-box excursions. Jacy is imaginative and adept in assisting with the planning of bespoke and memorable experiences. She curates itineraries for discerning individuals in the luxury travel market.
Jacy has been an accomplished businesswoman and an entrepreneur long before founding her latest companies. She was previously co-owner, photographer, and marketing and creative design director of an Austin, Texas-based travel photography business. Jacy helped build the company starting from an art vendor in the SoCo District, on to success in national and international markets. Her artwork is appreciated around the world.
For over a decade, Jacy has been coaching women and feels called to be an advocate for them to live an abundant and authentic life. One of her greatest passions is building trust and creating a comfortable and safe place for women to heal from past traumas and realize their true identity. She believes that by healing the wounds of the past, it not only brings freedom for the individual, but changes legacies. THRIVERY™ was birthed out of this vision and passion.
As a DISC Certified Behavioral Analyst, Certified Life Coach, former board member of an international non-profit, and having gone through her own healing journey, Jacy uses experience, wisdom, compassion and insight when supporting and coaching women to live the life they were created to live.
Jacy is also a writer, speaker, musician, songwriter, event producer, and has volunteered for various non-profits and organizations over the years that are close to her heart. She is a lover of life and believes that when women support, encourage and learn from each other, it is powerful and empowering. Jacy is married with three grown boys and two step-children.
Renee Kohn
Helping your Nervous System feel safe through Somatic Healing so you can get unstuck and experience the life and love you deeply desire and deserve! That’s Renee’s purpose and passion. As a Somatic Coach, she supports you in regulating and re-shaping your nervous system so in your body you feel more peace, joy, love, and freedom inside of you and authentically create that in your outer world. She has her Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology and is a Certified Life and Relationship Coach.
She’s been Coaching women professionally for nearly 15 years. Somatic Healing (Parts Work) has helped Renee, a trauma survivor, get unstuck in her own life and experience incredible inner safety, freedom, and success in living her dreams. Renee also worked on tv as a meteorologist, host, and feature reporter. And made audiences in San Diego and Los Angeles laugh as an improv comedian. In addition to Somatic Coaching, she also brings her Comedy Team Building program, EMPOWER PLAY, to companies to strengthen their culture of joy, fun, creativity, unity, and leadership.
Karen Quintos
A passionate advocate for social good with a focus on inequality with women and girls, Karen is an inspired and experienced transformative technology and marketing leader. A fervent Penn State alum, Karen loves connecting people through networking and philanthropy, entertaining, health and fitness, and faith-based causes. Karen was Dell Technologies’ first Chief Customer Officer (CCO), leading a global organization devoted to customer strategy, advocacy, and experiences.
In addition, she is a passionate advocate for women, including the advancement of women in the technology industry. Karen was founder of Dell’s Women in Action and the Interfaith Employee Resource Groups, and Dell’s Women Entrepreneur Network. Previously at Dell, Karen served as senior vice president and Chief Marketing Officer; vice president of Public Sector Marketing and North America Commercial; and she also held executive roles in services, support and supply chain management.
Karen earned a master’s degree in marketing and international business from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in supply chain management from The Pennsylvania State University. She serves on the boards of Cummins Inc., Lennox International, TGEN and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). She is also Chair of Penn State’s Smeal College of Business Advisory board, and is a recipient of its highest honor, the Distinguished Alumni Award. Karen is also on The Refuge advisory board, focused on nationally expanding this community and services to young women recovering from sex trafficking. Most recently, Karen was inducted into the Women of Technology Hall of Fame. Karen was listed among the most influential CMOs in the world by Forbes and named ‘Mother of the Year’ by Working Mother magazine. She resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and have three grown children.
